LOOKING BACK...
What are your fondest memories from the past 6 years?
"My fondest memories are those that I have had with my Brothers, both older and younger. Whether it's going to a concert together or trying a new food spot, my time with them has definitely shaped the past 6 years."
- Lianne Chan
"I've been to a few Wing Dings, but my fondest memory with PDC will always be my very first Wing Ding. It took place shortly after I crossed, and I remember being overwhelmed with how kind and welcoming Brothers from other Chapters were."
- Joanna Yen
How has PDC prepared you to be a leader in the profession?
"I had the opportunity to represent PDC through the Student Government Association which not only allowed me to develop my leadership and communication skills but also further engage PDC within the Northeastern community. PDC has also taught me the necessary skills to be a leader and has provided several other opportunities to lead, whether it be through direct positions or spearheading events."
- Lianne Chan
"PDC gave me an immediate introduction to events within the school of pharmacy, and connected me with older brothers who all served as mentors and role models for me as I went through pharmacy school. Being able to hold positions within the fraternity was invaluable for my development as a leader, especially Service Committee Chair. I learned how to organize events, and lead by example – delegating when necessary, and listening to the input of the committee."
- Kevin DeLeonardo
What are your plans after graduation?
"I am extremely excited to be pursuing a PGY1 focused on community and ambulatory care at Penobscot Community Health Care in Bangor, Maine this upcoming year! I will be working in various outpatient clinics, gaining additional transitions of care experience through partnerships with the local hospitals, and staffing at some of the many community pharmacies within the health system."
- Kevin DeLeonardo
"I will be working for CVS as a floater pharmacist."
- Joanna Yen
